What a wonderful Catholic Schools Week! It was so much fun! We are returning to a more relaxed, "typical" week in kindergarten this week! A few things to note:
I sent home February book orders! They are due back on February 26.
We will be celebrating our 100th Day of Kindergarten on Wednesday! I can't believe we've already made it to 100 days. We will celebrate all day long with different activities within our classroom. It won't be as extravagant as the 50th day, but it will still be something to remember!
Next Wednesday is Valentine's Day! However, it is also Ash Wednesday. Because of this, the classes will be hosting their "Valentine's Parties" next Tuesday instead. I attached a name list to the email that announced this lovely blog post. We have 18 total students in our class. I plan on getting some pizza boxes to use as our Valentine's boxes (SO FUN, but a secret!) I also have plenty of things for the kids to decorate the boxes with.
Our Silent Auction basket is coming along! Thank you to those who have already contributed. If you are still looking to contribute we definitely have more Legos than Barbies at this point! Thank you!
