Good morning!
I can't explain how proud I am of the kids and all the hard work they're continuing to do.Welcome to the home stretch! Reading/Science: Today's we are using BookFlix Week 2 Lesson 6 lessons on sound! It mixes in some physical science as well as reading and vocabulary, and I think the kids will really enjoy it! They do not need to do any post on SeeSaw when they use BookFlix. https://bookflix.digital.scholastic.com/pair/detail/bk0044pr/start?authCtx=U.794217314 I'd also love for the kids to pick a book from home today. If they, or someone else, can take a video of them holding the book, have them point out the front cover, back cover, title, title page, whether or not the book has a special spine (words on the spine) and if the book is hardcover or paperback! Math: Today, I'd like them to watch my video on using our feet for nonstandard measurements! Their challenge today is to find four things in their home OR outside that they can measure with their feet. They should either write the name of what they measured, draw a picture of it, or both, and write how many feet long it was with a pencil. Then, they should take a picture of the paper and send to me on SeeSaw. Religion: Watch my video on the Easter Trinity and Sign of the Cross. Then, complete the tracing worksheet and color the picture. When they upload a picture of their work, they should record themselves saying the Sign of the Cross with the recording tool as well. I would love to do another whole-class Zoom on Friday this week. These have been such a great time for the kids to see each other. We will do a springtime directed drawing together! This will be at 1:30. Thank you for all you do! I hope you have a great start to your week! Comments are closed.
