Music
Mrs. Gorr posted a SUPER fun bucket-drumming activity on her website for the kids! This is an "as you can" activity for the rest of the week. You can also find Mass music for the week under the Mass Music tab! https://sites.google.com/swsaints.org/music/k1st2nd?authuser=0 Reading The kids have activities assigned to them on SeeSaw! They should listen to the directions and complete the phonics games. Also, please pick a book OR other reading material from home today! (They need to draw ten sticks and boxes for two of the problems to show how the subtraction works). Blue birds--watch my video on finding the missing WHOLE using math mountains, and then complete both sides of worksheet 5.15. Please remember that we will have a large-group zoom call tomorrow at 1:00 to work on our Promise magazines! Good morning!

Please help your kiddos mute their mics when they enter the call. THANK YOU! Math: Everyone has some addition task cards today! The kids should cut the cards out (keep practicing those cutting skills!) so they can shuffle them up and flip through them to answer the questions. Blue Birds, your cards come with an answer sheet, so watch for the letter to tell you where to put the answers! Yellow birds, you will have to write your answers on a separate piece of paper. Please take a picture of your answers and send them to me when you finish so I can check them! Reading: Check SeeSaw for a reading passage today! Before they open the template, please have the kids listen to the audio directions, as there are 5 different passages for different reading groups and the directions are all a bit different! Make sure you are using "big breath" reading to read entire sentences at a time whenever you can! When you feel comfortable with the passage, press the microphone so I can hear you reading like a ROCKSTAR! Religion: Watch my Loom and follow along in your own Promise magazine!
